10.10.2007- Sorry for the "News Gap"! This has been quite a busy time at the Chastain Household. We are slowly moving forward in our fundraising. Also of note- our Isabel is a force to be reckoned with now that she is fully mobile! She went with us to Russia this summer, and everything went well. Thanks so much for your prayers! Instead of trying to describe the trip here, I think I'll let our newsletters do that.

1.1.2007- HAPPY NEW YEAR! We appreciate you visiting our website and encourage you to prayerfully consider your role within this ministry. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. If you would like to financially support this ministry, please click on the DONATE link to the left.

11.15.2006- Charlie returns from Moscow. The Eastern European Summit for Children at Risk 2006 was quite an eye opener. I was amazed to see so many people focused on the same goals as us. I felt both encouraged and dismayed at the same time. Some new research completed by the CDC really drove home the fact that we have a long way to go in solving the at-risk crisis in Russia: 1/3 of all street children living in St. Petersburg are HIV positive. This is not a small number folks! There are thousands on the streets of St. Petersburg. Check out photos from the summit and look for my thoughts on my time there soon.
